Making Your Own Tablecloth Pattern

According to “Interior Design 911”, the steps are just easy. You just have to prepare necessary material such as a piece of plain cloth, colorant, plastic cord, scissors, pencil, eraser, and round-shaped mold (You can use glass, coin, or compasses).

First, make round shape motifs on the cloth with your pencil. 2 circles for each, big and small.

“Pinch” the cloth in the middle of the circle that you have drawn, tie it with the cord so that each motif has two ties. Do the same thing to any other circles that you draw, as many as you want.

Prepare hot water that has been mixed with colorant. Dye the cloth.

Wait for a moment, and then rinse it in clean water. Dry the cloth without loosening the ties.

After the cloth has dried, loosen all the ties by using scissors.

To make it neat, erase the pencil marks on the cloth.
